Strawberry Festival

This annual event has been taking place in June for decades.  The community looks forward to socializing over beautiful red strawberries.  Often topping home-made Yoder Ice Cream or home baked pies.

Oktoberfest

Smyrna has a food cart out of which delicious Poutine dishes are served. It has been a hit at the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest for several years

Fall Dinner and Silent Auction

Womens Fellowship Bazaar

Auction bidders are seated and ready to bid on a wide assortment of mostly hand made items.  The Womens Fellowship Bazaar takes place in November.  

Sold at auction are quilts, pillowcases, tea towels, hand-tied comforters, and aprons — all made by women of Smyrna.  A country store has home baked goodies,  jams, jellies and produce. Look for some antique items.  Don't miss the sweet goods and other items for sale by the church youth.

Baked Potato Luncheon

After Church Worship Service everyone enters Friendship Hall to be served baked potatoes with all the trimmings. The funds from this event are designated for the Church Building Fund.
